The European Commission's Infomation Society and Media Directorate General today published a brochure entitled "ICT for the Fully Electric Vehicle - Research Needs and Challenges Ahead".

European Green Cars Experts gathered in Berlin - Link to Presentations
More than 140 leading experts from the automotive, energy and ICT sectors as well as researchers and representatives of public authorities from all about Europe attended a Joint Strategy and Networking Event "Thinking Ahead the PPP European Green Cars Initiative" held on 10 September 2010 at the premises of the European Commission in Berlin, Germany. The event was organized by ICT4FEV, the Europan Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) and VDI/VDE-IT. The prupose was to facilitate the building of consortia for the second round of proposals of the European Green Cars Initiative, and to discuss the further implementation of the initiative in FP8.
